Mark van Loosdrecht STW-Simon Stevin Meester 2013

Technology Foundation STW has awarded the title of ‘Simon Stevin Meester 2013’ to prof.dr.ir. Mark van Loosdrecht, Professor Environmental Biotechnology in our department. Associated with the title is a prize of 500.000 euros, which should be spent on research. Professor van Loosdrecht will receive the prize during the STW annual conference on 3 October of this year. The ‘Simon Stevin Meester-award’ is the largest prize for research in the area of science and engineering in the Netherlands and is awarded to scientists who are successful in combining excellent science with issues and applications with relevance for society. PDEng Graduation Ceremony
On April 12, 2012, the Delft Product & Process Design Insitute had the pleasure to congratulate 9 young professionals with obtaining their Professional Doctorate in Engineering (PDEng) degree. The PDEng traineeships offered are fulltime, salaried, take two years, and are the bridge from academy to the industry.
